Funko Pop Damage Policy

Funkopop damage policy

Our store policy regarding Funko POP damage is as follows:

Funko Pop Vinyls is a mass-produced toy line from several factories in the Far East region. Funko has its own quality control program to ensure that the product it produces meets company standards. As a retailer, we look at products to make sure they are the correct items and to eliminate any items that are clearly defective.

As a mass-produced toy line, there are differences that occur in the manufacturing process. This can include, but is not limited to, slight wrinkles or scuff marks on packaging, slight variations in paintwork, labels included or not included with boxes etc. These are all "slight differences" to a mass-produced product. You should also keep in mind that the packaging of these products is exactly the way to get actual POP vinyl from A to B. They are designed to help retailers and Funko themselves promote and sell what's already inside the box - a collectible toy.

We will not exchange or refund products with "slight differences". The products are still fit for their intended purpose, which is a fun collectible to play with or display, and there is nothing else we, as a retailer, can do for customers looking for an authentic product.

These items have passed Funko QC and deemed suitable by Funko for worldwide retail markets. If you have a specific issue with the quality of a Funko product, please contact Funko through their website at www.funko.com to provide such feedback.

The rationale for this policy is that what is considered a "Mint" or "Original" Pop! A vinyl collectible toy or what is considered a "Damaged" with Pop! It is a subjective point of view adopted by the individual and varies greatly from one consumer to another. As a collectibles retailer, we simply have to draw on our collective knowledge and experience in the industry and take an objective look at what we consider products to have a "flaw" versus those that have a "secondary manufacturing tolerance".

** Please note: Packaging defect that does not affect the pop itself is not considered defect or damage and is not subject to return or exchange of the box.
